1. Yamunotri
The journey begins at Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River and a place dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The Yamunotri temple stands at an altitude of 3,293 meters (10,804 feet), and the sacred Surya Kund thermal spring is one of its key attractions, where pilgrims take a holy dip for purification.
