Empowering Rural Livelihoods through Skill, Self-Reliance & Sustainability
Agriculture remains the backbone of rural India, not just as a source of food, but as a key to employment and dignity for millions. At Sabri Human Welfare Trust®, we understand the deep connection between the land and livelihoods. That’s why we’ve launched Agriculture & Gramin Rozgar Programmes — a dedicated initiative to support self-employment, improve rural income, and promote sustainable practices among farming communities.
These programmes aim to equip individuals and Self Help Groups (SHGs) with the knowledge, tools, and training needed to start or strengthen income-generating activities based on agriculture, livestock, and food-based production.
Our focus is on low-investment, high-potential rural activities that can be managed by small farmers, women, youth, and landless workers with the help of community cooperation.
🔑 Key Focus Areas:
- Promoting eco-friendly and organic farming techniques
- Encouraging small-scale dairy and goat farming for daily income
- Supporting food-based micro enterprises like papad, masala, and pickle making
- Enhancing awareness on rural schemes and training opportunities
- Connecting SHGs to local markets, govt support, and financial literacy
🤝 Why It Matters:
By supporting agricultural and allied livelihood options, we help rural families build resilience, reduce dependence on seasonal labor, and develop pride in self-reliance.
We believe that “Rozgar in Gaon” (employment in villages) is not only possible — it’s the key to rural development and community empowerment.
